BREAKING NEWS: It Appears That Novo Integrated Sciences Is Orchestrating a Scam With A Convicted Ponzi Scheme Criminal

We applaud the SEC for paying more attention lately and going after dishonest executives. Intrusion, Inc (INTZ) was a company we exposed as a fraud in 2021. On 9/26/23, the SEC announced that they are going after Intrusion for false statements. A lot of the allegations the SEC claims in their lawsuit we had found in our report. We will continue to work with the SEC to expose criminals and bad actors in the financial markets.

Now, we have another case that we are reporting to the SEC. And that’s from the news yesterday for Novo Integrated Sciences (NVOS). NVOS is a shady looking company that used to be on the OTC exchange and uplisted to the Nasdaq in 2021.

After the market closed on 9/28/23, NVOS released a PR that states:

One Billion Dollar Collateral Transfer Through Blacksheep Trust

When we saw this, we asked the question, what is Blacksheep Trust? The only info that NVOS provides in its filing on the deal is:

The company doesn’t even provide an email. Why isn’t NVOS providing more information on this company that they felt OK with putting out a flashy PR? Isn’t NVOS doing any due diligence on who they partner with?

We checked John Baron’s LinkedIn, and we found this:

OK, interesting. So we just know the guy is the Chairman of Blacksheep Trust and is from Toronto, there’s no more info on what he has done.

However, after a Google search on Mr. Baron, we found this article!

The article states:

A man who ensnared and then violated the trust of investors in a $3-million ponzi scheme was sent to prison for six years in Sarnia Superior Court. John Paul Baron, 55, of the Toronto area continued the fraud…

The article was from 2015, so that suggests Baron got out of prison in 2021. And that’s right when he created his Linkedin account! As shown below:

We wouldn’t be surprised to see a lawsuit from the SEC against NVOS in a year or so. Investor beware!
